About Us

Our Mission

Carole's Faith Legacy Foundation's (CFLF) mission is to support survivors, thrivers, and caregivers impacted by breast cancer by meeting everyday needs with dignity, compassion, and love. Through intentional giving, community-centered events, and legacy-building opportunities, we’re planting seeds of hope one blessing at a time.

CFLF was created in honor of a woman who lived with what she called Big Girl Faith. The kind of faith that stands tall in the face of fear, holds on through pain, and believes in miracles, even when life gets hard. We aim to uplift breast cancer survivors, thrivers, and caregivers through  faith-centered initiatives that reflect Carole’s light and legacy.

We don’t stop there; we provide direct support to help meet real everyday needs like groceries, transportation, childcare, and co-pays. Whether someone is in the fight, healing from it, or holding the memory of a loved one, we’re here to remind them:

A little mustard seed faith can lead to Big Girl miracles.

With faith, love, and action, we walk with them.

Who is Carole?

Daughter, sister, friend, mom, There are a million words to describe her, but not one can quite capture the amazing, generous and beautiful person Carole Marlene Carter was.  Her friends and family describe her as never meeting a stranger.  Carole accomplished so much in her short life such as being the first African American Woman Engineer in her field, receiving honors in her work on onstar and ford Sync and being a leader in her church and community.  So when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004, it was no surprise that she wanted to do something to help others who were also going through breast cancer and receiving treatment.  This is where her organization, was founded.  In all of her success she was still finding it difficult paying for medications and treatments while still maintaining a regular life.  She could not imagine how others were doing this as well.  It was all so stressful so she sought to help relieve stress from those in treatment by helping pay for their every day needs.  All through her remission she campaigned, raised funds and gave to many who needed help.  She also honored those past and present who had breast cancer.  Carole passed away in 2009 but her spirit will always live with many.
